SUMMER GATHERING 2025
”WE ARE THE VILLAGE”
Friday 25th – Sunday 27th July 2025 | Near Frome, Somerset
You are invited to something sacred, something real — a joyful remembering beneath the summer sky.
A Sacred Invitation to Come Home
What if there was a place where you didn’t have to change to fit in?
Where you could just show up — no mask, no pressure — and be welcomed exactly as you are?
That’s what the Sacred Sister Summer Gathering is.
This year, we’re not just throwing a party.
We’re marking five years of Sacred Sister.
We’re celebrating the birth of our CIC, the launch of The Sanctuary, and the turning of the wheel as our founder Laura celebrates her 50th year.
But more than that — we’re inviting you to land.
To reconnect with yourself, your body, your inner wisdom.
To laugh, cry, feast, exhale, dance under the stars, and remember what it feels like to belong.
You don’t need to be ‘spiritual’, healed, or confident.
You just need to bring yourself.
Many women come alone. Some bring a friend or a few sisters.
However you arrive, you’ll be met. You’ll be held. And you’ll leave feeling more like you than you have in years.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This is not a festival. We are a village. A space for you to gather, to be part of something beautiful and powerful. To heal, to reconnect with yourself, sisterhood and nature, with a lake to swim in, sauna to sweat in, woodland to walk in, on ancient land, traversing powerful ley lines, with sisters to support and hold you, with wisdom and stories.
Music, dance and ceremony. Massage, amazing soul nourishing food, nurture, and deep celebration of YOU and all that gather. THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST ONE YET, this one will make a difference in your life, for sure!
It’s not a busy weekend packed with back-to-back sessions, workshops you feel you should attend, or a program designed to prove its worth.
This is something else entirely.
Think: a soul-led retreat.
Think: rest & rejuvenation.
Think: connection, ceremony, and being met exactly where you are.
This is a living circle - a co-created gathering that unfolds in rhythm with the women who are present.
There is spaciousness here.
Room to breathe.
Room to listen.
Room to just be.
You are invited to step into a slower, more sacred way of being together — where there is nothing to prove and everything to remember.
Over the weekend, you can expect:
Sacred sisterhood & deepening connections
Ceremony, circles, & ritual
Music, movement, & fireside stories
Cacao & embodiment practices
Creativity, celebration, & shared joy
Healing, wisdom, & wellbeing
Sauna, wild swimming & woodland walks
Camping under the stars
Laughter, rest, & soul connection
Feasting, fun, festivities & frolicking
But more than anything, expect freedom.
Freedom to show up as you are.
Freedom to follow your own rhythm.
Freedom to remember what it feels like to be held without needing to hustle.
This is for you if…
This is for the woman who's holding everything — and forgetting herself in the process.
For the exhausted mum who’s spent all year pouring into everyone else and knows she needs to fill her own cup before summer swallows her whole.
For the burnt-out businesswoman who’s tired of emails and expectations and just wants to lie on the Earth, barefoot and free, and remember what it feels like to breathe again.
For the maiden watching her mother from the sidelines, longing to see her soft, her wild, her alive — and to feel that possibility in her own future.
For the elder who’s quietly wondering if her wisdom still matters, and needs to be reminded that her presence is a gift the village can’t do without.
For the woman who’s navigating change — menopause, heartbreak, a new beginning — and wants to be witnessed as she rises.
For the woman who’s never done anything like this before, but keeps hearing the whisper:
It’s time. It’s your time.
This is not a festival.
This is not a retreat.
This is a return. To self. To sisterhood. To the sacred way we’ve always known.
You don’t have to bring anything but your truth.
You don’t have to know anyone to belong.
Just come as you are — YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!
There is a place for you in this village.
And she is calling you home.
THE WEAVERS OF THE VILLAGE
We welcome
Women of all identities and lived experiences
Maidens from menarche and beyond (if your daughter is pre-menarche and you feel this experience is right for her, reach out for a chat — we trust your discernment)
Babes in arms held close to your heart
Elders with stories to share
Mothers in need of rest
Midlife women navigating change
Seekers, artists, healers, witches, wild ones
Those standing at a threshold, ready to cross into something new
This is a co-created weekend.
A living village for three days.
This is not an event run on workshops led by a guru, expert, or teacher at the front of the room.
We do not gather to be fixed or filled - we gather to remember.
We believe that every woman carries her own inner wisdom.
And when we show up in that knowing — raw, real, and ready — we create something sacred.
This is a space held by women, together.
Each of us bringing what we can.
Each of us receiving what we need.
For one weekend, we build the village.
A village of trust.
A village of soul.
A village of sisters.
If your heart feels the pull — you belong.
ALL OF YOU IS WELCOME HERE
Practical Magic — What You Need to Know
We want you to feel fully prepared, held, and free to enjoy the weekend with ease. Below you’ll find everything you need to know to help you settle in, land gently, and step fully into the magic.
We have the most beautiful celebration feast being lovingly foraged, prepared and cooked for us by these awesome sisters from Land. Food. Medicine.
They will be cooking for us over open fire, with the most amazing menu:
Our Seasonal Wild Tapas Menu features a variety of locally sourced, fire-cooked small plates that reflect the richness of the land around us. Dishes may include:
Log-grown shiitake pâté wrapped in wild leaves (starter bite)
Crispy foraged seaweed
Roasted aubergine & mint salad
Spiced potatoes with wild garlic aioli
Local no-dig garden leaves with a spruce balsamic dressing
Spinach, wild garlic & nettle spanakopita
Home-grown fermented vegetables
Miso-marinated, fire-cooked pulled mushrooms
Optional: Fire-cooked pulled beef (for meat lovers), infused with smoky, woody flavour
Side condiment: Sea buckthorn hot sauce
We aim to create a nourishing, sensory experience that reflects the local landscape and the rhythms of the season.
We’re beyond excited to be sharing the most delectable pudding with you—crafted by the glorious goddess of raw desserts, Rachana Sequoia. Her Juiciful organic gateaux are a true taste of nature’s magic—made solely from fruits, seeds, and nuts, they’re 100% gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and entirely vegan. Three years ago, Rachana created our wedding cake, and it was nothing short of a divine taste explosion—we loved it so much we took it on honeymoon and devoured a slice every single day! It’s the kind of dessert that’s not only mouthwateringly delicious but also nourishing—well, as good as cake can possibly be!
Let’s Talk About Food
Food is such an important part of village life — and at the Gathering, it’s no different.
How we eat, share, and nourish ourselves matters.
Here’s how it flows:
Friday night: We open with our magical Pot Luck Dinner — everyone brings a dish, and together we create the most beautiful shared feast.
Saturday: You’ll be served breakfast, lunch, and our big Feast Night celebration.
Sunday: We close with breakfast and lunch, and for those staying later — don’t worry, we always have plenty to go around (I’m famous for feeding a small army!).
All food (except the feast, please let us know) will be gluten-free and vegan as standard.
Please bring your own plates, cutlery, and a mug you love — we honour the land and don’t use disposables.
We’ll be finalising food numbers by July 15th, so be sure to book in time.
Already booked your place?
You can pay for your food separately if needed — just click the ticket link and use the code FOOD to bring up the all inclusive meal ticket.
Let’s eat, share, and nourish — the village way.
BEAUTIFUL WILDWOOD SAUNA
In the ancient past, women would gather in the steam lodges and earth-warmed chambers of their villages—not just to cleanse the body, but to purify the spirit, to share stories, songs, and silence. Wrapped in heat and tradition, they came together in sacred sisterhood, letting the sweat carry away sorrow, grief, and the burdens of daily life. Beneath the rising steam, with herbs strewn and waters sizzling on stone, they remembered who they were—daughters of the Earth, keepers of wisdom, vessels of life and mystery. The sauna was not luxury—it was ritual. A place to reconnect with the cycles of the moon, the pulse of the land, and the deep knowing that healing happens when women sit heart-to-heart, womb-to-womb, in the warmth of presence and truth.
No Tent, No Problem - We’ve got you covered!
Glamping at The Gathering
We’re so excited to be teaming up with our long-time friends at Hearthworks to offer you beautiful glamping options for The Gathering.
Whether you’re coming solo or with sisters, there’s something special waiting for you:
✨ Yurt Dormitory – Coming on your own? Book a cosy bed in our shared yurt dorm. Over the years, this has been a beautiful way for women to connect deeply, share stories, and form lifelong friendships.
✨ Private Glamping – Prefer your own space? Choose from a stunning selection of tipis, domes, or yurts—just for you, or to share with a friend or two.
✨ Group Glamping – Gather your sisters, split the cost, and enjoy a little extra comfort together in style. There’s nothing like waking up in nature, wrapped in the warmth of connection and a proper mattress!
To book:
Reserve your spot with a 50% deposit, and pay the remaining balance by July.
Glamping sells out quickly every year, so if you’re feeling the call—now’s the time to say yes to a soft landing for your weekend of connection, ceremony, and rest.
Say Yes to the Circle
If you’ve felt the pull, the pause, the something inside you whispering yes — this is your invitation to follow it.
This gathering isn’t just another weekend away.
It’s a return.
To yourself.
To sisterhood.
To the rhythm of the Earth and the wisdom of your own soul.
You can secure your place today — either with a full ticket or by placing a deposit if that’s what supports you best right now.
Let it be easy. Let it be yours.
From Laura with Love
This isn’t just my birthday.
It’s a celebration of all our rebirths.
The moments we bloomed. The times we broke.
The love that held us through it all.
Let’s honour the path that brought us here —
And joyfully, lovingly, step into what’s next, together.
You are so loved.
You are so welcome.
You are not alone.

“If your soul whispered yes while reading this… you are already part of the village. We are waiting for you.”
