Sacred Sister

SUMMER GATHERING 2026

HOMECOMING

Where Sisterhood Is the Medicine

Thursday 30th July – Monday 3rd August 2026
Glastonbury, UK

A place to arrive as you are… and remember what it feels like to belong.

There comes a moment in a woman’s life…

where the noise no longer fits.

Where the roles feel heavy.
Where the pace feels too much.
Where something inside her begins to whisper

there must be more than this

This is a space to take the time…

to remember who you are.

Not through doing more.
Not through striving or searching outside of yourself.

But through slowing down
breathing…
and returning to the wisdom
that has always been within you.

A gathering
for women ready to step out of the noise…

and into something deeper.

We return to the land
where Sacred Sister first began.

Not just to gather…
but to remember.

This is not a festival.

This is a living field of remembrance.

A place to arrive exactly as you are.
To be met in the simplicity of sisterhood.
To soften… back into what truly matters.

Through circle & ceremony.
Through shared spaces & guided journeys.
Through movement, dance, and embodied practice.

Through the food that nourishes you.
Through the land that holds you.

You are given the space…

to pause
to listen

to hear your own inner voice again

Held in the roots of Avalon.
On land touched by a fresh water spring.
Powered by the energy of the sun.

This is a return to simplicity.

To what is real.
To what matters.

And over time…
something begins to soften.

You leave not with more to do…

but with a deeper sense of who you are.

A deeper peace within yourself.
A deeper connection to life, To the land,

To Sisterhood.

“I don’t think you’ll ever fully know how much this weekend gave me.

From the moment I arrived, there was a sense of being welcomed exactly as I was — no expectations, no pressure, just a quiet acceptance that allowed me to soften in a way I hadn’t realised I needed.

The connection between women, the conversations, the space to be seen and heard… it changed something in me.

I came away feeling like I had expanded — like I had met a version of myself I’d been missing for a long time.

It wasn’t just a weekend.
It was something that continues to ripple through me even now.”

— Kate : First Timer at The Summer Gathering 2025

A Different Kind of Gathering

You may have experienced gatherings, retreats, festivals before…
spaces that promise transformation, healing, or growth.

And many of them hold real value.

But this space has been created with a different intention.

This is not a place where you come to sit on the sidelines and watch.

There may be moments where women share or guide…
but this isn’t built around one voice leading the way.

It is about the village we co-create together.

This is a return…

to true community,
to circle, to a sacred space,
to something more honest, and deeply human.

Rooted in the rhythm of the season

we gather at the time of first harvest
when something has ripened,
when the land is full,
and there is a natural pause to take stock.

And while we are not recreating the old ways…

something of that remembering lives here.

You are not being asked to arrive as a better version of yourself.

You are being welcomed exactly as you are.

Because here…
the medicine is not held by one person.

It lives in the land beneath your feet.
In the women you sit beside.
In the shared intention that begins to form the moment you arrive.

It is found in the conversations by the fire.
In the tears that are finally allowed to flow.
In the laughter that rises when there is nothing to hold together.

It moves through the morning practices.
The music.
The movement.
The meals shared side by side.

It lives in the moments of being seen…
without needing to change.

And from that place…

something real begins to shift.

Not because anyone told you how to fix it.
But because you were given the space
to hear yourself again.

Who This Is For

This space is for you…
if you are longing to come home to yourself.

If you are tired of holding it all together.
If you are craving something deeper than surface-level connection.

If you are ready to be in spaces that feel honest
grounding
soulful
and deeply human.

You may be needing rest.
You may be moving through a season of change.
You may be feeling a quiet pull

to gather with other women
in a way that feels more rooted, more sacred, more true.

There is no one way you need to arrive.

You do not need to be more healed.
More confident. More Spiritual.
More certain of who you are.

You are welcome in the middle of it all.

Come Together

This gathering grows through women sharing it with each other.

Not through adverts or algorithms…
but through real connection.

You are always welcome to come on your own.

Many women do.

But there is something special about a woman turning to another and saying…

“Do you want to come?”

A friend.
A sister.
A woman you know needs this.

Your yoga class.
Your community.
The women you meet each day.

In a world where we’ve forgotten how to gather…

this is how we begin again.

What Makes Sacred Sister Different

Sisterhood over spectacle

We do not gather around headline acts.
We gather around shared intention.

The power of this space is not in status or visibility…
but in the collective field that forms when women come together with open hearts.

Simplicity with depth

This is not about overcomplication.

It is about creating beautiful, intentional spaces
where you can soften, listen, connect…

and remember.

A living experience, not just a line-up

This is not something to watch or move between.

It is something you feel yourself inside of.

The gathering unfolds through sacred spaces,
through village energy,
through embodied practice,
through conversation, music, nourishment, and time on the land.

Nourishment as part of the experience

All meals are prepared within the gathering,
from Thursday evening through to Monday morning.

This allows you to arrive…
and truly settle.

To soften.
To be nourished.
To be taken care of.

Food becomes part of the rhythm of the gathering…

shared, simple,
and made with care.

You are welcome to bring your own food
if that feels right for you.

We simply ask that you arrive with everything you need,
as there are no facilities for storage, refrigeration, or cooking on site.

Rooted in our pillars

Everything is woven through the Sacred Sister pillars of:

Awareness — seeing clearly, listening deeply, remembering what is true
Healing — tending the wounds, softening the armour, returning to wholeness
Embodiment — living the wisdom, trusting the body, anchoring change into everyday life

Come as you are

There is no pedestal here.
No perfect way to show up.

Only the invitation to arrive honestly…

and let the space meet you there.

This is not something to understand from the outside.

It is something you feel, in the way you are welcome as you arrive.

What It Feels Like to Be Here

You arrive…
and something in you begins to soften.

Your shoulders drop.
Your breath deepens.

You are met by women
where nothing needs to be explained.

The fire is burning.
The land is holding you.

And slowly…

you remember what it feels like
to be here.

What You’ll Step Into

Inside the gathering, you will be held within a rich and intentional experience…one that unfolds through moments such as:

  • sacred opening and closing ceremonies

  • women’s circles and village connection

  • spaces for rest, reflection, and deep conversation

  • embodied practices and workshops rooted in healing and awareness

  • music, voice, prayer, creativity, and celebration

  • nourishing food and time on the land

  • connection to nature, fire, beauty…and the simple power of being together

  • opportunities for personal insight, collective healing, and soul remembering

This is not about filling every moment.

It is about creating a rhythm
spacious enough for depth to unfold.

The Village

The gathering unfolds across a number of interwoven spaces…

From the Hearth — where food and connection are shared,
to the fire — where we gather in circle,
to quieter spaces for rest, healing, and reflection.

You will find your way through the village
not by a map…

but by what calls you.

Come Into the Weaving

This gathering is a co-created space…
every woman is part of it.

Some come to receive.
Some come to share.
Some come to support the whole.

There is no hierarchy here…
just different ways of being within the field.

We keep things simple.

You won’t find rows of stalls or a marketplace to move through.
We step away from the usual consumerism that can often shape these spaces…

and instead return to something more natural.

That said, there is still space to share.

Across the weekend, there are gentle moments
where women can offer their creations —

with informal spaces at lunchtimes,
a beautiful Sunday morning market,
and our much-loved clothes & book swap space
available throughout the gathering.

It’s simple.
It’s shared.
It’s part of the rhythm of the village.

Share Your Talents, Skills and Wisdom

In the past the gathering has grown in the field, facilitators come as part of the village, buying a ticket like everyone else and offering their skills with love to the women attending.

As we plan to grow this year, if you feel called to bring your work into this space — through circle, embodiment, healing, or another offering — you are warmly invited to apply.

This is not about performing or standing above.
It is about contributing to the field in a way that is grounded, honest, and in service to the whole.

If accepted, facilitators are gifted their place at the gathering, and are asked to purchase a meal ticket for their contribution.

Offer Healing, Massage, Therapies, 1:1 or Group Sharing

We welcome experienced therapists and practitioners who feel called to offer 1:1 or small group sessions within the gathering.

This is a space where deep work can unfold gently, held within the wider field of sisterhood.

If accepted, practitioners will be expected to purchase a reduced gathering ticket and pay a contribution towards meals.

Walk as Part of the Village, Volunteer For Your Place.

It takes many hands to create a space like this.

If you feel called to support the gathering — through welcoming, tending, setting up, or holding the flow of the space — we would love to hear from you.

Volunteers are part of the heartbeat of the gathering.

If you are successfull you will be gifted a ticket to the gathering and will be expected to make a contribution to your meals.

  • I loved the confidence it built in me, alongside the laughter, encouragement, and support that flowed so naturally throughout the weekend. It felt like the best kind of medicine—uplifting, special, and deeply nourishing being in nature together. The whole experience was pure fun, magical, and left me feeling truly free.

    — Emma

  • I loved the friendliness and the warm welcome—it created a space where you could truly relax and just be. The whole weekend flowed wonderfully, and even though I would usually be a stickler for timekeeping, I found myself really embracing the freedom of not needing to stick to time. It felt like a fabulous space to connect with yourself and begin that deeper inner work, all held within an environment that felt easy, supportive, and natural.

    —Deb

  • I loved all of it, especially the deep feeling of acceptance and support that was present throughout. It felt liberating and welcoming, filling my heart to be with Sacred Sisters in such a genuine way. I arrived feeling unsure and even considered leaving, but very quickly felt accepted, connected, and able to settle into the experience. While I’m usually someone who likes structure and timing, I found myself softening into the flow and even beginning to see time differently by the end of the weekend. I left feeling completely different to how I arrived—what began as feeling fractured and out of sorts became a sense of wholeness, and it’s a feeling I’m holding onto deeply.

    —Kirsty

  • I loved everything about the gathering—it was a really beautiful, nourishing, and healing experience, being part of and surrounded by a tribe of real women. It felt so supportive and genuine, and it’s something I would simply say to a friend: come with me next time.

    —Sarah

  • I loved the connectedness, the warmth, and the smiles that flowed throughout the whole gathering. It felt like a space where you could truly be yourself and be seen for who you are, without needing to be anything other than you. The whole weekend was simply awesome.

    — Lou

  • The energy of the gathering was incredible—filled with connection, laughter, and a sense of something truly special shared between women. It felt inspirational from beginning to end, leaving a lasting impression that stayed beyond the weekend itself. It’s the kind of experience you would simply describe as amazing and wholeheartedly encourage your best friend to come and be part of. Truly one of the best experiences to be had at a gathering.

    — Elaine

  • What I loved most was the sisterhood woven through the whole weekend—the connection, the Innerdance, and the joy of the Saturday night talent show. It felt absolutely epic from start to finish, such a delight to be with Sacred Sisters in that space. If anything, it simply felt too short. It’s the kind of experience where the only thing you’d say to a friend is: just go, it might well change your life story.

A Personal Note from Laura

Sacred Sister has never been about creating something polished for women to consume from the outside. It has always been about creating spaces where we can return to what is real.

This gathering is part of that prayer. A space for women to come together in honesty, beauty, tenderness, power, and presence. A space where we remember that sisterhood itself can be medicine.

I am not interested in building something overcomplicated or performative. I am interested in creating something true. Something grounded. Something that allows women to come as they are and leave more connected to themselves, to each other, and to life.

Since our first gathering in 2020, women have returned again and again, they bring their friends, they forge new connections, and they become a part of something that feels like home.

To gather in this way takes all of us, it takes a community of awesome women to raise the village, and we have so much fun doing it, and this experience changes lives, so I look forward to welcoming you there.

If you feel the call, I trust that.

With love & Deep Gratitude
