EXPLORE THE VILLAGE

This is where the gathering begins to take shape…

where the land, the spaces,
and the rhythm of the days
begin to unfold.

This page is here to support you.

To answer the practical questions…
so you can feel clear, settled, and ready.

If you’ve already felt the call,
this simply helps you take the next step with ease.

The Land & The Village

The gathering unfolds across five interwoven fields on the land…
each holding a different part of the experience.

Everything is within walking distance,
and you are free to move between spaces as you feel called.

There is no rigid schedule…
the rhythm unfolds gently across the days.

The land is held close to nature.

Water comes from the spring on the land.
There are composting toilets, accessible toilets, and hot showers available,
along with simple spaces to wash up.

We ask each woman to move with care here.

To be mindful of your surroundings,
to keep your space tidy, and to take personal rubbish home with you.

This is a place we share

not only with each other,
but with the land itself.

The animals, the trees, the plants, the birds —
this is their home.

To leave no trace, only love and good vibes.

The Rhythm of the Gathering

There is no packed schedule.

Instead, the gathering follows a gentle rhythm

with daily circles and shared spaces,
workshops and embodied practices,
music and evening gatherings,
and time for rest, integration, and connection.

You are free to engage
as much or as little as you feel.

This is not about doing everything…

but about finding your own way within it.

You are welcome to arrive in your own time…

to land, to settle,
to begin to connect with the space
and the women around you.

From Thursday,
the village begins to form…

with gentle moments around the fire,
shared meals,
and space to arrive fully.

On Friday afternoon,
we gather for our Opening Ceremony.

A moment where we come together as women on the land…

to mark the beginning,
and step consciously into the space we are creating.

From here,
the gathering deepens.

On Sunday afternoon,
we close the circle together in ceremony.

A time to honour what has been,
to acknowledge what has shifted,
and to gently begin the return.

For those who feel called to stay…

Sunday evening becomes a space of deeper integration.

A softer landing,
held in a more intimate way,
as we begin to weave the experience into ourselves.

This year, this space will be held by our great sister Tallulah Rendall
offering a beautiful opportunity, thorough voice, song and sound,
to ground and anchor what has unfolded.

You are free to come for the time that feels right for you.

But if you can…

we encourage you to be present
for the opening and closing moments of the gathering.

And from this place…

we gather in a way that honours choice.

You arrive into the first field…

where you are welcomed,
where names are met with faces,
and the journey begins to slow.

This is where the outside world softens…
and the village begins.

This is the Threshold….

Where You’ll Stay

Most women stay in the Deer Field,
bringing their own tents and creating a soft, shared camping space.

You are welcome to bring:

  • a tent, and everything you need to be comfy.

  • share a tent with another sister.

  • a live-in vehicle (allocated in the arrival field) this must be booked with the purchase of a live in vehicle ticket, and includes any vehicle you are sleeping in, incl your car.

or choose one of the pre-arranged options.

We have a range of shared dorm style glamping, individual glamping, furnished and unfurnished options.

Then you arrive into the Hearth Field

the social heart of the gathering.

Here you will find the kitchen, where our food is lovingly prepared, with an invitation for you to step in and support, chop some veggies, prep, wash up. In this space deep conversations can happen from the safety of everyday tasks. It is always a hive of love and wonder.
The Nest, is our lounge full of creativity and making, and the Common-Unity space.

Spaces where life moves gently…
where food is shared,
and connection happens naturally.

Food & Nourishment

If you choose it, all meals are provided from Thursday evening through to Monday morning.

Food is prepared with care and heart within the gathering,
as part of the community kitchen — The Hearth,
held with love by Mela.

This allows you to fully arrive…

to soften,
to settle,
and to be nourished
without needing to organise or plan.

Breakfast is a generous, grounding start to the day —
granolas, oats, breads, eggs, fruits, and spreads.

Lunch is simple and fresh —
salads, proteins, breads, fermented and pickled vegetables and seasonal goodness.

Dinner is the main shared meal of the day,
eaten together in community,
and made with love.

Both vegan and meat options are available.

We honour dietary requirements where possible,
and meals are mostly dairy- and gluten-free.

Our meat is prepared separately,
so that each woman’s choices are respected.

Ingredients are seasonal, local,
and organic where we can source them.

You will also find a small coffee and cake stall on site,
offering sweet treats and warm drinks to enjoy throughout the day,
lovingly run by Kate.

You are welcome to self-cater if that feels right for you.

We simply ask that you arrive with everything you need,
as there are no facilities for refrigeration, cooking, or food storage on site.

If you do bring your own food,
please keep it within your own sealed containers
(such as a cool box),

as we are close to nature here,
and food in camping areas can attract unwanted animals onto the land.

Common-Unity Space

This is our largest shared space on the land…

a place where we gather together
throughout the days and evenings.

In the daytime,
it holds workshops, embodiment, movement, voice, and dance.

As the evening comes,
it becomes a space for storytelling,
song, celebration, and connection.

A place where we come together…
not as individuals,
but as a village.

It also offers shelter when needed…

a space where we can gather,
eat, and be together undercover,
held from the elements, if needed,

we are in an English Summer after all!

The Nest

The Nest is our space for creativity…

a place where making and mending sit alongside conversation and connection.

Here you will find workshops led by creatives and makers

but you are just as welcome to come
to journal, to craft,
or simply to sit alongside others.

Not all healing happens in circle or ceremony.

Much of it lives in the everyday

in the quiet moments,
in shared tasks,
in being side by side
with something in your hands.

This space is held with love by Michelle,

who brings a warmth and openness
that allows you to arrive exactly as you are.

The Heart Field

From the Hearth, you may find yourself drawn towards the fire…

the Heart Field, with its view of the Tor.

This is where we gather in circle…
for ceremony, ritual, and remembering.

A place you will return to again and again.

Within this space,
different circles and gatherings unfold across the days…

each one part of the living village.

Elders Village & Maidens Garden

We honour the presence of women across generations.

From maidens stepping into these spaces for the first time,
to elders carrying wisdom and lived experience.

The Elders Village and Maidens Garden offer spaces
for connection, reflection, and shared experience…

where stories are passed,
wisdom is remembered,
and something begins to heal across generations.

Reclaim Your Culture

There is also space within the gathering
to reconnect with culture, land, and lineage.

Through song, story, and shared wisdom,
the Reclaim Your Culture space invites a remembering
of traditions, voices, and ways of being
that live within and beyond us.

Spaces of Belonging

We recognise that each woman arrives
with her own lived experience.

Within the Heart Field, there will be space for smaller circles to form…

including a space of belonging for women of colour,
and other moments where women may gather
in shared experience.

These spaces are not separate from the gathering…

but part of the wider village,
supporting deeper connection, safety, and belonging.

You are always free to move through the village
in the way that feels right for you.

Healing & Support

Beyond you will find The Healing Garden, a space you can come to for rest, support, and deeper care.

Here you will find practitioners offering:

  • massage

  • reiki

  • wellbeing sessions

  • one-to-one support

Our medical herbalists are also present,

offering support for first aid,
and for both physical and emotional wellbeing.

There is space to rest

a quiet temple space for contemplation,
and a central space where healing workshops and circles take place.

You will also find the sacred spa space here…

a wood-fired yurt sauna
and cold plunge

offering a place to warm, release, and reset the body.

This space is held with love by Layla and Morgan,
bringing a gentle presence of care, calm, and deep support.

You are free to come and go as you need,
at your own pace.

Held within the softer, watery energy of the Spring Field
this is where the water first meets the land,

and where you are gently met in return.

Choice & Consent

Nothing here is compulsory.

You choose where you go.
You choose how you participate.
You choose when you rest.

This gathering honours personal sovereignty
and shared responsibility.

You are trusted
to know your own yes and your own no.

If you feel called to understand more about how we gather,
you can explore our Sacred Agreement here.

We recognise that every woman’s needs are different,

that will be available throughout the weekend,

so you can relax into the space
knowing you can still be reached if needed.
