Spring cleaning is more than just clearing the cobwebs……..

Clearing the Clutter, Calling in the Fire: The Sacred Energy of Kali and the Spring Clean of the Soul

There is a magic in the mess and even more magic in the moment we choose to let it go.

This week, I’ve been deep in it.
Sorting, clearing, purging… not just my home, but my heart.
Decluttering from the inside out.

And as I cleared the cupboards, emptied drawers, and finally let go of things I’ve held onto for far too long - I felt something ancient rising in me. Fierce. Freeing. Holy.

The energy of Kali.

The Sacred Art of the Spring Clean

Spring cleaning isn’t just about getting rid of old stuff.
It’s about getting honest.

What are we still holding onto out of fear?
What identities, memories, or “just in case” stories are we stuffing into boxes and back closets of our lives?

The more I sorted, the more I noticed how much of me was buried under obligation, nostalgia, or guilt. Things that once meant something, but no longer carry truth. Things I thought I should keep, but deep down… I was ready to release.

So, I did.

I burned Old Papers. Journals. Notebooks. Old Accounts. Client Records. Bankruptcy Paperwork, so much paper!
I let go of old projects, things I am never going to actually get around too.
I cried over clothes that no longer fit who I’m becoming.
And in it all, I felt something stirring that wasn’t sadness—it was sovereignty.

Kali: The Goddess of Destruction and Rebirth

If you’ve never met Kali, she is the wild, untamed force of sacred destruction.
She is the dark mother. The fire that burns illusions.
She doesn’t tidy up gently - she tears down what no longer serves so something truer can be born.

And I felt her in every moment this week.

When I stood at the fire and watched my past burn.
When I finally stopped trying to make things fit that never did.
When I chose space over clutter. Truth over safety.
And breath over heaviness.

Kali is not chaos for chaos’ sake.
She is clarity.
She is the fierce love that says, “This is not who you are anymore. Let it go.”

Your Invitation: What Needs to Burn?

You don’t need to start with the attic.
You can start with a corner. A drawer. A belief.
But let it be Intentional. Ritual. Sacred.

Ask yourself:

  • What am I ready to release? and not just the same old versions you keep churning out every new moon, what actually is the story, under the story, dive deeply!

  • What feels heavy when I look at it?

  • What version of me am I still trying to hold onto?

And then let it go - with love, not guilt.

You can write it down and burn it.
You can bless it before binning it.
You can cry, dance, rage, or smile.

BUT you must acknowledge it first, this is key, so speak the things are you are releasing out loud, declare that it is safe for this to now go, find gratitude in all that it has brought you, and state the you are cancelling, deleting, and clearing this from your coding. It is TIME!

Just know: the release is the ritual.
And the space it creates is where new magic can rise.

In This Season of Renewal…

Let the goddess guide you - not to clean your house, but to reclaim your power.
Let the fire hold what no longer belongs.
Let your body breathe in the space you've created.
And let this be the beginning of something sacred, bold, and wildly aligned.

With firelight in my heart and a clear path ahead,
Laura x
