Practical Magic — What You Need to Know

We want you to feel fully prepared, held, and free to enjoy the weekend with ease. Below you’ll find everything you need to know to help you settle in, land gently, and step fully into the magic.

We have the most beautiful celebration feast being lovingly foraged, prepared and cooked for us by these awesome sisters from Land. Food. Medicine.

They will be cooking for us over open fire, with the most amazing menu:

Our Seasonal Wild Tapas Menu features a variety of locally sourced, fire-cooked small plates that reflect the richness of the land around us. Dishes may include:

  • Log-grown shiitake pâté wrapped in wild leaves (starter bite)

  • Crispy foraged seaweed

  • Roasted aubergine & mint salad

  • Spiced potatoes with wild garlic aioli

  • Local no-dig garden leaves with a spruce balsamic dressing

  • Spinach, wild garlic & nettle spanakopita

  • Home-grown fermented vegetables

  • Miso-marinated, fire-cooked pulled mushrooms

  • Optional: Fire-cooked pulled beef (for meat lovers), infused with smoky, woody flavour

  • Side condiment: Sea buckthorn hot sauce

We aim to create a nourishing, sensory experience that reflects the local landscape and the rhythms of the season.

We’re beyond excited to be sharing the most delectable pudding with you—crafted by the glorious goddess of raw desserts, Rachana Sequoia. Her Juiciful organic gateaux are a true taste of nature’s magic—made solely from fruits, seeds, and nuts, they’re 100% gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and entirely vegan. Three years ago, Rachana created our wedding cake, and it was nothing short of a divine taste explosion—we loved it so much we took it on honeymoon and devoured a slice every single day! It’s the kind of dessert that’s not only mouthwateringly delicious but also nourishing—well, as good as cake can possibly be!

The weekends food plan is shaping up, so you can now purchase a food ticket for Saturday Breakfast & Lunch, Saturday Feast Night, Sunday Breakfast & Lunch. All food we provide other than the feast will be gluten free and vegan as standard. Friday night is our chance to create the most magical pot luck dinner which is always so exquisite, and such a beautiful way for all our energies to flow together, and Sunday evening for those who are staying, we will always find something to eat, because I am well known for providing enough food to feed a small army!

Book all your meal tickets in the link below, you can spilt the costs of the event by paying your deposit, your balance due in July, and your food ticket separately, but we need to have final numbers for food by 5th July.

I am really excited about this years food, for me, food is such an important aspect of our gatherings and village life, how we nurture and nourish our bodies during this time together brings such power and beauty.

Remember as a space that honours the land, we do not use disposables, so you must bring everything with you, plates, bowls, cutlery, your best mug, just because you are in a field, doesn’t mean how you eat your food shouldn’t make you smile!

BEAUTIFUL WILDWOOD SAUNA

In the ancient past, women would gather in the steam lodges and earth-warmed chambers of their villages—not just to cleanse the body, but to purify the spirit, to share stories, songs, and silence. Wrapped in heat and tradition, they came together in sacred sisterhood, letting the sweat carry away sorrow, grief, and the burdens of daily life. Beneath the rising steam, with herbs strewn and waters sizzling on stone, they remembered who they were—daughters of the Earth, keepers of wisdom, vessels of life and mystery. The sauna was not luxury—it was ritual. A place to reconnect with the cycles of the moon, the pulse of the land, and the deep knowing that healing happens when women sit heart-to-heart, womb-to-womb, in the warmth of presence and truth.

At this Gathering, we are blessed to offer the stunning, hand-built Wildwood wood-fired sauna, complete with a glorious skylight to watch the stars above—but as we honour every woman’s choice, the sauna remains an optional extra, allowing us to keep ticket costs as accessible as possible.

✨ Group Glamping – Gather your sisters, split the cost, and enjoy a little extra comfort together in style. There’s nothing like waking up in nature, wrapped in the warmth of connection and a proper mattress!

  • Deposit - we know times can also be a little tough just now, so you can also book your space with a £30 deposit, and split payment. Full payments to be made by the 1st July.
