What You Need to Know
A guide to help you feel prepared, supported, and excited to join us.
What We Are
The Sacred Sister Summer Gathering is not a festival. It’s not an event, or a production.
It is a village.
A sacred, soulful space co-created by women — for celebration, rest, connection, and remembrance.
There is no packed schedule. No stage show. No pressure to perform.
And yet, beauty unfolds.
Workshops emerge. Music fills the air. The fire is tended. The sauna is lit. Healing happens.
Because you show up — and together, we co-create the magic.
So ask yourself...
What might you bring to the circle?
What have you been longing to share, but never had the space or permission to offer?
Maybe it’s your hands — tending the kitchen, feeding the fire, or welcoming a sister home.
Maybe it’s your voice — with stories, songs, or laughter.
Maybe it’s your stillness. Your wisdom. Your presence.
You don’t need to be anyone other than yourself.
You don’t need to bring anything but your truth.
We come together as equals. As sisters. As women who long to be met in our wholeness.
After thirty years in the event industry, I’ve seen how often women arrive with the energy of “I’m the performer — don’t you know who I am?” There’s an expectation to be treated differently, to be paid to show up and do a job. And in many spaces, that’s valid and to be respected.
But when we began these gatherings, I longed for something else. Something deeper. I wanted to dismantle that dynamic — not to devalue what we bring — but to honour that we are all worthy of being seen, held, and celebrated for who we truly are. Not what we do. Not what we produce.
Year after year, I’ve seen how magical it is when we each show up as equals — not as performers or audience, not as experts and learners — but simply as women sharing their gifts. Some of the most incredible professional artists, facilitators and musicians have joined us over the years. And they’ve told me that what moved them most… was not being on the stage, but being in the circle.
That is the real magic. A space where we are not here to entertain one another, but to remember each other home.

Together, we weave a weekend of magic, presence, beauty, and belonging.
What to Bring
There is no shop on-site, so come prepared.
Bring what will help you feel cosy, grounded, and at home for the weekend — body, mind, and soul.
Your Camp Set-Up
Tent, bedding, and everything for your own camping set-up
Warm clothes, layers, suncream, hat, and bug spray — this is England after all (and yes, bring your wellies… so it won’t rain!)

Water bottle, tea mug, plate, bowl, and cutlery
(We are a no-disposable site — if you don’t bring a plate, we won’t be able to serve you food!)Snacks, herbal teas, non-alcoholic drinks
(There will be a communal hot water station — feel free to bring a few favourite herbal tea bags to contribute and create a magical potluck tea table.)A dish to contribute to Friday’s shared feast
(This doesn’t need to be fancy — it could be homemade, shop-bought, or leftovers from your fridge. What matters is the love you bring it with.)
Comforts for the Circle
Yoga mat, comfy seat, sheepskin, favourite blanket, your drum
(We’re in a field — bring whatever you need to feel at ease and well supported.)Something meaningful for the altar or living mandala
(A flower, a stone, a photo — simple or sacred. Just remember to take it home, full of magic.)

A bag to take all your rubbish home with you
(If you’re travelling light or on public transport, do what you can — and as always, we support each other.)
What Not to Bring
This space is sacred, simple, and held with care. To honour the energy of the land and the circle, we ask that you leave the following at home:
Alcohol or drugs
We create and maintain a clean container — one rooted in presence, not altered states. If you need to drink to feel free, this may not be the space for you.
Late-night noise
We invite stillness after 10.00pm in the main camp. Quiet hours allow those who need deep rest to receive it. If you’re a night owl, there will be space to gather gently around the fire without disrupting others.
Animals
We adore animals — but the land is home to wild creatures, and we want to respect that. Please don’t bring pets. If you have a specific access need or unique circumstance, reach out — we’re always open to compassionate conversation.
Young children
This gathering is for you. For your nervous system to settle, for your heart to open, for you to simply be.
That’s hard to do when your attention is pulled elsewhere.
We welcome babes in arms and self-sufficient maidens who are able to tend to themselves and honour the space.
If you’re not sure, let’s talk — we trust your discernment.
Camping, Glamping & Vehicles
Bring Your Own Tent
There's ample space to set up your personal sanctuary. Whether you're a seasoned camper or it's your first time, you'll find a spot that feels just right. There is no car access into the camping space, but it is less than a 20 metre flat walk from drop off, and once we have parked your car up we can give you a ride back up to the site.
Live-In Vehicles
Planning to sleep in a campervan or similar? Please book your spot in advance to ensure we can accommodate you comfortably.
Glamping
This year we have our beautiful friends from Hearthworks with some awesome glamping options, details can be found on the website to book direct, click this link. Why not club together with a few friends and book yourself a fabulous tipi for the weekend.
Site Details
Our site is part of a beautiful farm, fully embracing the beauty of nature. Vehicles won't be permitted in the main camping areas to preserve the land's serenity. However, everything is within a short walking distance, and our community is always ready to lend a hand in carrying your belongings.
Accessibility
We are committed to making the gathering accessible to all. If you have specific needs or require assistance with arrival, camping, or comfort, please let us know in advance. We're here to support you in creating a nurturing and inclusive experience. Especially the need for accessible toilet facilities as currently all toilets have a couple of steps, so if this is not possible for you then please do let us know.
Food
We’re celebrating in a big way this year — and food is such an important part of how we gather, connect, and honour this moment together.
You are more than welcome to self-cater — just be sure to bring everything you’ll need, including your own cooking setup, food storage, and a way to take all your waste home. If you're travelling light or would simply love to fully relax into the experience, we’ve got you covered...
Let Us Nourish You
A weekend food ticket will be available to purchase soon, which includes five delicious meals:
Saturday: breakfast, lunch, and a celebratory feast dinner
Sunday: breakfast and lunch
We’re finalising the pricing now and will let you know as soon as it’s available to book.
You’ll also be able to purchase a standalone ticket just for Saturday evening’s Feast Dinner, so if you’re self-catering the rest of the weekend but don’t want to miss the magic of that shared celebration, you can still join us at the table.
Friday Welcome Feast
Our weekend begins with a bring-and-share meal — one of the most beautiful parts of the gathering.
Bring a dish you love, something simple and easy to eat outdoors on a summer’s evening. There’s no need to impress or overthink it. Homemade, shop-bought, or something from your fridge — if you love it, we’ll love it too.
Sunday Night Potluck
If you’re staying with us into Sunday evening, we’ll gather again for a gentle, informal potluck supper around the fire. Bring along whatever’s left in your cool box or anything you feel like sharing as we wind down and begin to gently return to the world.
Sweet Treats & Real Coffee
There will be sweet snacks, treats, and lovingly made real coffee available on-site from our little pop-up café — perfect for morning connection or a mid-afternoon moment to yourself.
Accessibility & Facilities
We have a number of compost toilets throughout the site
Four hot showers
Outdoor washing up space
Spa Zone with sauna and plunge pool
Parking nearby — with assistance available for unloading gear
Let us know how we can help make your experience more accessible and supported.
Offerings & Co-Creation
This gathering is built on shared gifts.
You are invited to offer your magic — be it a poem, a dance, a circle, a workshop, a song, a tea ritual, a story, support in the kitchen, something creative or simply your presence.
We’ll co-create our weekend rhythm together.
A large board timetable will be set up at the welcome point — where you can sign up to offer what you feel called to bring.
There’s no pressure. Only invitation. But so many amazing women’s careers have begun at our gatherings, and it makes my heart sing, to know they felt safe enough to bring it to us first.
Daily Rhythm
We like to call this our unstructured structure — the gentle rhythm that holds us through the weekend. A masculine container that supports our feminine flow. Nothing is fixed, but there is a current. A pulse. A way to rest into the shape of the days.
Friday — Arrival & Welcome
Arrivals open from 12pm
Take your time to land, breathe, and set up your camp. Allow yourself to arrive — not just physically, but emotionally and energetically too.
Opening Circle – 5pm
Please aim to arrive by this time. It’s so supportive for all of us to begin together — and you deserve this moment to step fully into the space. This is where we cast the circle and drop into the magic of what’s to come.
Welcome Feast – 6:30pm
A communal bring-and-share meal to open our hearts and fill our bellies.
Evening Gathering
Friday night will be a gentle musical welcome — a chance to connect, listen, rest, and soften into the space.
Wear whatever makes you feel you — whether that’s old trackies, your pyjamas, or something sparkly. Comfort is sacred. All of you is welcome here.
Saturday — Soulful Celebration
Breakfast Buffet
Available 7:30–9:30am — take your time, nourish slowly.
Community Check-In
We’ll gather in the morning to connect as a group and feel into the flow of the day.
Open Workshops & Sister Circles
Held throughout the day, created by you. This is where we share our gifts — from yoga to storytelling, art to embodiment, herbs to healing.
Long Lunch & Rest Time
We pause together. A chance to lie in the grass, journal, nap, or simply be.
Spa Time & Body Bliss
Access the sauna, cold plunge, wild swim, or book a massage — this is your time to receive.
Celebration Feast – 6pm
We gather again for our soul celebration dinner.
Evening Ceremony
Cacao, open mic, wild disco celebration.
Come as you truly are. Let your soul lead the way. Whether that’s glittered and glowing, wrapped in a shawl, or completely bare — you are not your costume. You are your presence. Your essence. Your joy.
Let yourself be seen in whatever form your freedom takes.
Sunday — Integration & Completion
Breakfast & Morning Check-In
Just like Saturday — a gentle start, a shared breath, a chance to root.
Offerings & Sharing Market
More sister-led workshops and our Sunday marketplace. Bring along anything you’ve made or love to sell and share — handmade goods, herbs, art, creations from your heart.
Lunch Together
Another slow meal, shared in community.
Closing Ceremony – from 3pm
We begin to gather, ground, and integrate. A sound bath to soften and seal the weekend, followed by our final closing circle.
We ask that all sisters stay through to the end — we complete by 6pm. It’s an important part of your return.
Optional Sunday Night Stay
If you’d like to stay over Sunday night (free of charge), you’re warmly welcome — just be sure to book your space.
We’ll sit by the fire, share stories, cuddle up, and let the magic gently settle.
Monday — Farewell & Pack-Down
Final goodbyes.
Packing down camp.
Clearing the space with reverence and gratitude.
Let’s leave the land just as we found it — filled with beauty and love, and not a trace left behind.

Final Notes
This is your space.
For rest.
For joy.
For being seen — not for what you do, but for who you truly are.
Come as you are.
Come open. Come curious.
There is nothing to prove here. Only something to remember.
Honour the land.
Honour the circle.
Honour your own rhythm.
And if you know this is what you need — chances are, someone you love needs it too.
There is something deeply special about sharing this experience with a sister, a friend, a kindred spirit. Many women come alone and leave with lifelong connections. But sometimes, those who need this space most are still waiting for the invitation. They’re still waiting to be seen.
So if someone comes to mind — tell her.
Bring her.
Let her know there’s a place where she belongs.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
With open arms, open hearts, and a circle that holds us all.

I smile whenever I visualise my experience at sacred sister, I was enjoying the circle and ceremony as well as peaceful time to be quiet in my own space . Just appreciating the sounds of laughter, chatter, fires and sister connections.
Ladies in all their diversity, all walks of life, all coming together was my thought . A truly beautiful memory, in my mind the sun was bright in the most stunning setting , it was unforgettable. - Ali
