International Women’s Day: A Call for True Sisterhood

International Women’s Day should be about real sisterhood—not corporate panels, business metrics, or another conversation about how women can “prove” themselves in a system that wasn’t built for us. Too often, this day is framed around the idea that we must fight, push, and strive for power in ways that mirror the masculine. But what if we chose another way? What if we honoured our deep feminine wisdom, intuition, and flow instead?

Our power isn’t something we need to demand - it’s something we already are. It exists in the way we gather, the way we support each other, and the way we create spaces of deep connection. When women come together, not to compete but to uplift, something magical happens. We shift the energy. We raise the vibration. We heal generations of wounds that have kept us separate.

This is where true change happens - not in boardrooms but in circles. Not in fighting for a seat at the table, but in realising we can create a whole new space altogether.

Gathering Over Striving

For too long, the narrative around International Women’s Day has been centred on external achievements - breaking glass ceilings, leading in male-dominated industries, and proving our worth through measurable success. While these accomplishments are valuable, they are not the only markers of progress. There is also deep power in embracing the fullness of who we are, in reclaiming the ways of the feminine, in honouring intuition, cycles, rest, and creation.

What if we used this day not just to talk about equality but to embody it? Not just to celebrate women who have achieved but to celebrate every woman in her wholeness - her softness, her strength, her wisdom, her wildness?

Raising the Vibration of Women Everywhere

International Women’s Day should be a day where we gather, where we listen deeply to one another, where we remember that we are not alone. It should be a day of creative action - whether that means coming together in circle, practicing ritual, or simply holding space for another woman to be seen and heard. This is how we bring about real change - not just through policy but through presence.

Sisterhood is the revolution. Connection is the medicine.

So this International Women’s Day, let’s shift the focus. Let’s reclaim this day as one that truly honours the essence of being a woman. Let’s celebrate in a way that feeds our souls, not just our cv’s. Let’s gather in ways that nourish us, in ways that remind us of who we truly are.

Because when women rise together, the whole world changes.
